چکیده

By combining mobile computing and Web Services technologies, pervasive computing expects more portability and location transparency for accessing information in anytime from anywhere. Though, a direct integration of two technologies imposes performance limitations because of XML’s verbose nature and physical limitations of mobile computing. We present our new architecture design and implementations, Handheld Flexible Representation (HHFR) in this paper. The architecture provides alternative representations other than XML-based SOAP and fast communication transport options. The negotiation between two end-points using SOAP message sets up characteristics of following stream of messages. The benchmark results show the performance advantage of using the architecture when a session composes a sequence

Efficiency Benefits in Mobile Web Service Architecture Using Context-store

Mobile computing became general computing environment as mobile devices getting powerful and wireless connectivity improves dramatically. As well, Ubiquitous Web Service becomes more viable because of the success in mobile computing. However, there are few huddles remains to integrate Web Services with mobile devices such as battery-life problem and messaging efficiency issue. We proposed and i...

High Fuzzy Utility Based Frequent Patterns Mining Approach for Mobile Web Services Sequences

Nowadays high fuzzy utility based pattern mining is an emerging topic in data mining. It refers to discover all patterns having a high utility meeting a user-specified minimum high utility threshold. It comprises extracting patterns which are highly accessed in mobile web service sequences. Different from the traditional fuzzy approach, high fuzzy utility mining considers not only counts of mob...

A Higher Level Abstraction for Mobile Computing Middleware

Mobile application developers now choose between many communication paradigms e.g. Remote Method Invocation, publish-subscribe, data sharing, mobile agents and tuple spaces. Each offers benefits to different application styles; however, their heterogeneity means applications and services implemented using different paradigms cannot interoperate. In this paper, we propose a higher-level abstract...

Cluster Based Cross Layer Intelligent Service Discovery for Mobile Ad-Hoc Networks

The ability to discover services in Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a major prerequisite. Cluster basedcross layer intelligent service discovery for MANET (CBISD) is cluster based architecture, caching ofsemantic details of services and intelligent forwarding using network layer mechanisms. The cluster basedarchitecture using semantic knowledge provides scalability and accuracy. Also, the mini...

Semantic Mobility Channel (SMC): Ubiquitous and Mobile Computing Meets the Semantic Web

With the advent of emerging personal computing paradigms such as ubiquitous and mobile computing, Web contents are becoming accessible from a wide range of mobile devices. Since these devices do not have the same rendering capabilities, Web contents need to be adapted for transparent access from a variety of client agents. Such content adaptation is exploited for either an individual element or...
